This week, we’re excited to highlight one of Germany’s most innovative university-affiliated startup hubs: the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE) at Hochschule München.

💡 Founded in 2002 by Falk Strascheg and continuously supported by the Falk und Renate Strascheg Stiftung, SCE has established itself as a pioneering force in entrepreneurship education and ecosystem building. As the E-Ship Center of Hochschule München, SCE empowers students, founders, and companies to turn diverse ideas into impactful innovations while fostering a culture of responsible entrepreneurship.

SCE acts as a thought leader, enabler, and facilitator for shaping an entrepreneurial and livable society. It supports and connects successful startups while embedding a cross-faculty and university-wide innovation culture, encouraging entrepreneurial mindsets, offering research-driven impulses, and promoting a future worth living. SCE offers an interdisciplinary Master program that prepares students to become changemakers in innovation and business. Beyond academic programs, the center actively supports startups through mentorship, accelerators, and co-creation with industry partners, creating entrepreneurial ecosystems that enable innovations with tangible impact.

🌍 Connecting Europe: SYSTEMEU
Through the newly launched, EIT funded project, SCE fosters cross-regional collaboration and systemic innovation across Europe. SYSTEMEU bridges gaps between regions with different levels of development, focusing on sectors such as healthcare, energy, and mobility. By integrating societal well-being into the innovation process, SYSTEMEU aligns with key European and national strategies, creating regenerative ecosystems that drive economic growth and social impact.
