🌱 Transforming Cities, One Green Innovation at a Time! 🌱
🎉 We're excited to announce a new article in our SFF Success Corner series! This initiative highlights success stories from the Start for Future Alliance, showcasing achievements from partner universities, incubators, professors, researchers, startups, and talents. 🌟
1. Let’s talk for the beginning about your Start-up idea. Who are you and what was the
spark to go on this exciting journey, and can you describe your idea in a few words?
I'm Shailesh Chandra, and along with my co-founder Nandini, our journey began with a shared
passion for making urban spaces greener and more sustainable. Our startup develops eco-friendly
solutions, including green fencing and smart self-watering systems for indoor plants, bringing
greenery to cities and promoting environmental sustainability.
2. Co-creation has been pivotal in many start-up journeys. Can you describe a co-creation
project that significantly enhanced your predictive maintenance solutions?
Co-creation was essential in developing our Breathing Pot, a smart self-watering solution for
indoor plants. Working closely with experts, we fine-tuned its design and functionality, making it
highly efficient and reliable. This collaboration allowed us to create a product that meets the
needs of urban residents looking for a hassle-free, eco-friendly way to care for their plants.
3. Looking forward, what are your immediate priorities as you plan to scale operations
internationally, and where do you see it in five years?
Our immediate priority is to build partnerships across Europe for greater visibility and local
production. In five years, I see our solutions as global standards in sustainable urban
infrastructure, helping cities everywhere to green their environments.
4. Let's talk about Start for Future's role in your journey. Which program did you join,
and what was your biggest benefit?
We joined the Start for Future incubation program last year. It offered invaluable mentorship,
product development support, and a visit to SCE Munich. These resources helped sharpen our
strategy and build crucial networks for growth.
5. And one more thing ... If you could describe your team in one word, what would it be?
Green-minded
6. Last but not least – Do you have any call to action for our network or some needs we can
promote?
We’d love introductions to urban planners and construction companies committed to sustainable
solutions. Let’s collaborate to make green infrastructure an essential part of future cities!
